The Amara Legal Center provides free legal services to survivors of sex trafficking and to sex workers in the District of Columbia. As part of providing those services, Amara is holding a free, virtual expungement clinic for trafficking survivors and sex workers who wish to see if criminal convictions or charges may be removed from their records.

On March 22 and 23, attorneys will provide consultations by video or phone. Attorneys will interview individuals and assess whether they are eligible for expungement, record sealing, or vacatur in DC. Please sign up here.

Spots for the clinic are limited. Individuals who do not meet Amara's eligibility criteria (involvement in commercial sex) will receive referrals to other organizations.
