The Amara Legal Center invites you to a legal training on vacatur and expungement for survivors of human trafficking in the District of Columbia. In 2018, DC passed the Trafficking Survivors Relief Amendment Act (TSRAA), which provides criminal record relief for certain offenses when the conduct was the direct result of an individual being a victim of trafficking. Attendees will receive a copy of the Vacatur of Convictions Toolkit, produced by the Amara Legal Center and McGuireWoods LLP, for legal professionals.
