DCFNE’s SANE Training is an International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN) approved 40-hour didactic course designed to equip Registered Nurses and Advanced Practice Nurses with the foundational elements of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner practice. Participants who complete this training will be eligible to sit for the SANE-A Certification exam after completion of clinical practice requirements set by the IAFN. Awards 40 Continuing Nurse Education Hours upon completion.
